Our Writers & Editorial Team
The Cat Wellness is a small editorial team with real hands-on cat experience, real reading of the veterinary literature and every claim sourced. We’re not vets. We translate what the vets publish into plain language.
Editorial Standards
Before any article is published on The Cat Wellness, it must meet the following criteria:
- Every claim sourced. Cornell Feline Health Center, AAFP, AVMA, peer-reviewed journals or other authoritative veterinary publications.
- Primary sources linked directly in the article.
- Hands-on observations clearly labeled as such. Researched-only claims labeled too. No fake first-person testing.
- Updated when the underlying research moves.
- No claim of veterinary credentials by any contributor when it’s not the case.
