How many water bowls should one cat have?
At least two, even for a single cat. Cats like options and often prefer water that’s away from their food and their litter box, so spreading a couple of stations around the home raises the odds she drinks enough. Put one in a quiet spot she frequents and another on a different floor or in another room. Keep them clean and refilled daily, since cats are fussy about stale water. More stations matter even more in a multi-cat home, where one cat can guard a single bowl.
